ARSP is the first telemedicine-based ROP screening project in Marathwada and central Maharashtra. By using a specially designed fundus camera for babies (Neo cam-Forus, Bangalore), images of the retina of at-risk babies will be taken by well-trained and certified Optometrists. These images will then be seen and reported by specialists, and the decision about further treatment will be taken by the team of Retina Specialist and Pediatric Ophthalmologist.
